Our client, a leading, privately held real estate development and investment company based in the metro Washington, DC area, is looking to add a high potential financial professional into a critical role supporting acquisition and asset management executives. Recognized as one of the premier companies within the real estate industry, this company has acquired over $20 billion in real estate assets across the United States. The acquisition strategy focuses primarily on major metropolitan markets, seeking investments in a diversity of asset types including office, hospitality, multifamily, industrial and retail sectors. POSITION INFORMATION: This position is primarily responsible for providing analytical support to investment and asset management executives while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data used to make critical investment decisions. Specifically, this person will manage portfolio performance analysis, financial modeling, valuation, investor reporting and financial systems. Additionally, this person will assist on deal structuring and capital raising.
Highly competitive compensation package with strong cash component, which includes salary, bonus, and significant equity participation. If necessary, relocation will be provided.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 8 years experience

BS in Accounting, Finance or related required;

Minimum 3.3 GPA required

CPA or MBA with prior Big 4 experience preferred

Prior real estate experience preferred

Must have strong Excel modeling and analysis skills;

Self starter with excellent communication and leadership skills required
