COMPANY BACKGROUND:
We have been retained by an industry leader in multi-family property management to find a high potential Operations professional to join the executive leadership team. Based in the Mid-Atlantic, the company owns and manages a robust portfolio of multi-family properties across the country. The company has a diversified portfolio that includes conventional, tax-credit and federally assisted apartments. With a strong management team and a long-term, value-oriented culture, they seek an individual to join the executive management group.
POSITION INFORMATION:
In this newly created position, the company desires an experienced hands-on, strategic property management executive to lead a portion of the operations of the management company. The SVP Operations will be responsible for attracting and retaining a top-caliber management team, in addition to monitoring performance of all assets across the portfolio. This position will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with owners, government agencies and financial institutions. Individuals with a polished executive presence and strong management skills are highly desired. As a member of the corporate executive team this position has strong career growth, high visibility and exposure to ownership.
Compensation: Our client is willing to customize a compensation package that will include a base salary and cash bonus, and additional monetary rewards to recognized short-term and long-term success.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; Masters degree highly preferred

15+ years progressive career experience in multi-family property operations/management

Experience operating tax-credit/affordable housing projects highly desired

Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to work with people at multiple levels.
TOTAL ESTIMATED ANNUAL CASH COMPENSATION:
Contingent Upon Experience.
