Global Corporate Controller

We have been retained by a privately held acquisition-oriented Pre-IPO data and analytics company who is seeking a Global Corporate Controller. This role will be a critical member of the finance management team reporting to the CFO. The executive management team is comprised of meaningful, entrepreneurial leaders who are highly respected in the marketplace. The company has gone through impressive, consistent growth over the last 10 years and is well positioned for continued growth and further expansion. Position:

The successful candidate will lead accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting for the company and provide strategic direction for global financial operations. We seek a high-potential, hands-on, pragmatic financial professional with a demonstrated record of improving processes as well as strong management and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a record of success in managing and scaling financial operations in a complex, rapidly growing evolving, acquisition focused business environment.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA required.

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 5 years in a corporate leadership/management role. Prior Big 4 or National public accounting required.

  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and IFRS principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance. Experience with M&A process and SEC filings.

  • Experience with rapidly growing, pre-IPO, acquisition-oriented companies; experience/exposure with subscription-based revenue models preferred. Prior exposure to international operations required.

  • Proactive, take-charge, process-oriented mindset with the ability and track record to drive change and make an impact.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. High EQ approach.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of building and developing lean, efficient, high-performing teams. Ability to identify, hire, and mentor high-potential talent.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to track continuous improvement, learning, and professional development.
